You've probably seen the bright banners downtown - indicating that there is something good happening behind those barricades, construction fencing, and yellow tape. There are a lot of construction, renovation, and preservation projects going on downtown - and here's the scoop on what's happening:

Other downtown buildings are not getting the care and attention they deserve. Some of our richest historic architecture and civic heritage is threatened by neglect. Here's hoping that the owners of those properties will be inspired by these projects to do the right (and profitable) thing, by repairing and restoring their buildings to their full potential.
