History Happened Here: Your Revolutionary War

Are you having trouble finding the information you need for your Revolutionary War patriot?
Researching for soldiers and participants from this historical war, sometimes, proves to be discouraging to the researcher if one does not have the knowledge of websites and other resources that prove helpful.
Anyone who has ancestors who “crossed the pond” to America before 1775, most likely, will have one or more direct ancestors who participated in the Revolutionary War, as well as collateral family members.
Vikki Sordean, past regent and registrar and life member of DAR will discuss where and how to start your research for that elusive family patriot and how to substantiate ancestors for DAR and SAR
certification. At times, the task can prove difficult; other times it is a “piece of cake” for your patriot.
Vikki, is a 44-year veteran genealogist, retired teacher and member of Wabash Valley Genealogy Society.
Her expertise and experience in the areas of family history research and genealogy are exceptional and she loves to help others in their personal research.
